Plan International — The Conditions

The film reads the inequalities a girl inherits as a set of terms and conditions accepted at birth. It was shot on location with a doll standing in for the infant; our work was to replace that doll, shot for shot, with a baby that held up across the whole sequence. No child was on that set — the ethical case for the tool, made by the film rather than about it.
